Submission Deadline – midnight 28th March 2023

The Rouleaux Club, in association with Charing Cross International Symposium 2023 and BIBA Medical Ltd, are holding a competition to create an infographic and/or infomercial intended to educate members of the public in Chronic Limb Threatening Ischaemia (CLTI) and encourage patients to present early to their GP in a competition entitled “The Hurting Leg”.

Infographics and short Infomercial videos are invited from all students and trainees involved in caring for Vascular patients from all over the world.

Submission should be made online below.

Guidelines for Submission

Infomercial

The infomercial should consist of a video aimed at explaining Chronic Limb Threatening Ischaemia to members of the public and encourage patients with hurting legs to present early to their GP. It should be a maximum of 2 minutes long.

Please do not include author details or information that identifies your unit or hospital in the Infomercial.

Selection of the top 5 infomercials will be the responsibility of the Rouleaux Executive Committee and the submitting author of each case will be contacted on the email address given on the submission (unless a different email address is provided). The top 5 infomercials will be played at CX Symposium 25-27th April. The creators of the top 5 infomercials will receive free entry to the symposium. Unsuccessful creators will be eligible to apply for attendance under the early bird rate. The successful infomercial creators will be informed by 7th April 2023.

Attendees at the CX symposium will be able to view the top 5 infomercials and vote for their preferred one. The winner will be announced at the symposium during the CLTI session on Thursday 27 April. The prize consists of £1000, suggested to go towards surgical loupes, leads or another item or educational course relevant to the individual’s practice.
