Charing Cross Symposium 2027 Plenary programme topic suggestions

Plenary programme topic suggestions are opening soon to senior clinicians and experts at the top of their field to contribute to the scientific programme at the Charing Cross Symposium (CX) 2027. We welcome submissions for educational sessions that present the latest evidence, emerging technologies and evolving practice across the vascular and endovascular field.

Submissions include:

  • Oral presentations
  • Debates
  • Edited cases
  • Live cases

Submissions will be considered for inclusion in the scientific plenary theatres.

Submission guidelines

  • Plenary programme topic suggestions must be submitted via the submission form.
  • All submissions must be in English.
  • Presentation titles must be educational and CME compliant: Titles should be objective, evidence-based, and focused on clinical learning. Please avoid brand names or promotional language.
  • Topic areas:
    • Aortic
    • Venous & Lymphatic
    • Peripheral Arterial & CLTI
    • Vascular Access
    • Carotid & Acute Stroke
    • Vascular Trauma
    • Innovation Showcase
  • All plenary programme topic suggestion must be submitted by the presenting author. Once a submission has been accepted, the presenting author cannot be changed.

Review process

  • Plenary programme topic suggestion submissions are reviewed by the CX Executive Board for scientific and educational merit. The Board makes all decisions regarding inclusion in the scientific programme. Submission through this portal does not guarantee acceptance.
  • If your submission is accepted for a plenary programme presentation, you must be available to present at CX 2027 (6–8 April 2027).

CX Faculty will benefit from

  • Complimentary registration for CX
  • 3 nights’ accommodation at the faculty hotel
  • Travel allowance

Key Dates

There will be two rounds of review of submissions by the CX Executive board. The first at the end of August to review early submissions, and the second review at the end of September.

  • Final submission deadline: 25th September 2026
  • Notification of outcome: By end of October 2026

Following the final submission deadline, the submission form will remain open for late-breaking data submissions only until Friday 8 January 2027.

Please note: Opportunities for additional plenary presentations after the final submission deadline will be very limited. Late submissions will only be considered where suitable space is available.
