Since January 2018, MedTech Europe, convened by industry itself, agreed prohibition of companies from directly sponsoring physicians. Regulations have prohibited member companies from directly sponsoring physicians to attend third-party organised educational events like the CX Symposium. Fortunately this was always inline with the standards of the CX Symposium.
Unrestricted educational grants are welcomed by the CX event to help towards registration, travel and hotel costs for participants wishing to attend CX.
Unrestricted educational grants cover the cost of registration, accommodation during the conference, and travel expenses as described above in a transparent fashion.
What will the grants cover?
Full CX registration enabling access to education in three main auditoria and workshops from 08:00-18:00
Up to 3 hotel nights* (single occupancy, including breakfast)
A travel grant (economy flight/train/shuttle)
*Number of nights is dependent on grant provider. Hotel is pre-determined (Hilton London Metropole).
A CX Industry Partner may offer an unrestricted Educational Grant for physicians to attend CX without expecting any influence of the CME programme which is the domain of the CX Executive Board entirely
Please send your enquiries to [email protected] Each member of the CX Executive Board is aware of the responsibilities and is expected to sign a declaration of any conflict of interest made available upon CME application.
Note that in order to process grant contracts, criteria, selection and registration of individuals, we will be unable to accept any further grant submissions after the 31st January 2023.
